Quick, honest answers to the questions we hear most.
Card Margin is an inventory and profit-tracking app for trading cards. You add the cards you own, track your true cost basis (purchase price plus tax, shipping, buying fees, and grading), log your sales, and see your profit, loss, and ROI. You can move items through workflow buckets — On Hand, At Grading, Listed, Consigned, Vault, Sold, and more — so you always know where every card is.
Yes. You enter your purchases yourself, including the purchase price, tax, shipping, and any buying fees — whether the card came from eBay, a card show, or anywhere else. When you sell, Card Margin records the sale and the result.
Yes — based on the costs and sales you enter. Card Margin rolls your purchase price, tax, shipping, fees, and grading into a single cost basis, then compares it to your net sale amount to show profit, loss, and ROI.
Purchase price, tax, shipping, miscellaneous buying fees, and grading fees all roll into each item's cost basis. When you sell, you can also account for selling fees and consignment fees, so your net profit reflects what you actually keep.
Not yet. Automatic PSA lookup is being prepared. For now, you can enter cert information manually and use the “Verify on PSA” link to check details yourself.
Yes. Bulk import via CSV is available on the Pro Dealer plan. Download the template, fill in your inventory, and upload it to add many items at once — a preview shows exactly what will be added before anything is saved.
Pro Dealer unlocks Card Margin's full toolset on top of everything in the Free plan: unlimited inventory items, bulk CSV import, tax & P&L reports, advanced analytics, consignment management, and market-value research links — all for $14.99/month, billed through Whop.
Paid plans are billed through Whop — cancel there at any time. Once Whop reports the cancellation, your account returns to the Free plan and you keep all your data. The “Unlink” button in Settings only disconnects your license key; it does not stop Whop billing.
